Andy began work for the pactice in July 2001. Since this time he has been involved in a wide range of residential design projects including Castle Cement Grounds, Lanark Market, and Clydesdale Steel Works. He has also recently been responsible for the design and supervision of a major park in Wishaw, the Whitehill Neighbourhood Centre grounds, in Hamilton. A further park in Cumbernauld is about to start. This has lead to involvement with several community groups from establishing their requirements, showing them the opportunities, seeking funding and dealing with official organisations on their behalf.
Andy's interest and expertise in environmental issues are reflected in his work on projects within the environmental
assessment portfolio. He is responsible for much of the preparation work for planning appeals. Landscape and Visual
Impact Assessments have been prepared for the development of Ayr Racecourse, Stirling Major Growth Area, Woodlands
Hospital, Aberdeen and Aberdeen Science and Energy Park.
In December 2005 he became an Associate of the practice. As an Associate he also has an overall responsibility within the
Practice.
